Saskia Groneberg takes a tenderly ironic look at plant arrangements whose often unrecognized purpose lies in disorganized interstices. Without much fuss, sansevieria, cacti, succulents, and other sparse plants nestle as inventory in modern office environments. The primary order of these spaces is rational. Thus, the mostly private greenery grows and sprawls across desks and shelves, occupying corners and aisles, dividing spaces and connecting them. With cutaways and vistas, as a faded trace or in expansive gesture, Saskia Groneberg circles the radius of the office plant and reveals its mostly peripheral status (Thomas Seelig)
